Position : Welder

Location :  Suva

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, fabricate, and maintain waste bins to ensure durability and safety.
• Perform welding tasks on fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and identify welding repair needs.
• Assist in maintenance tasks related to fleet and infrastructure.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and repair manuals.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to prioritize repairs.
• Ensure all welding work complies with industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a fleet, logistics, or maintenance environment.
• Certification in welding  is preferred.
• Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
